| Loki had always been rather phlegmatic, especially in contrast to his brother, but in recent years he had become completely lethargic. He didn't feel like doing anything. If anyone were interested in him enough to ask him what he really wanted, he wouldn't be able to answer. Sometimes he just wanted to sleep and watch some mind-numbing movie to avoid thinking about his life. In his most lucid...>> moments, when he lay in bed unable to sleep, he sometimes realized that what he really wanted was a change. He wanted to shake off the terrible stagnation he had fallen into, he wanted to go out into the world being free, uninhibited and brave. Then he made unrealistic plans that he almost believed. But then another dull, gray day would come and Loki would come to terms with his life again. He didn't have enough energy to rebel, so he had to live with what he had. Anyway, it could have been worse. Loki is married and quite depressed. |
